Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), long known and highly-respected for its outstanding pharmacy program, expanded its programming to offer accelerated baccalaureate and masters programs in the health sciences. MCPHS is committed to understanding the needs of serious students, and is dedicated to delivering programs that help students achieve in their professional careers. MCPHS is also growing geographically and now has campuses in Manchester, NH and Worcester, MA as well as in Boston.

MCPHS asked Patricia Kennedy Communications and Fassino/Design to create a branded admission package to reflect more accurately the “new” MCPHS. This package includes admission view books and visitation brochures, tailored to each campus. We also developed the web site architecture, designed the format, supervised photography and crafted content for the new accelerated bachelor of science in nursing program. In addition, we are revising and creating new web content for the entire MCPHS web site.

Our work included:

  • Strategic Communications Planning
  • Integrated Print Communication Materials
  • Web Site Strategy, Architecture, Design and Content

Brand Strategy

We positioned MCPHS as a college for the serious student preparing for a career in the health sciences.

Tag Line: Learn. Grow. Achieve. Lead.

Marketing Strategy

  • Focus on the key differentiators offered by MCPHS: accelerated programs, highly-qualified faculty, recently completed facilities that enhance learning
  • Highlight the serious student
  • Emphasize career potential for the MCPHS graduate

Results

After the new materials were in distribution and the web site launched, MCPHS experienced a significant increase in applications. This is attributed, in part, to a planned and consistent delivery of message and brand as reflected in these new materials.

With this phase completed, Patricia Kennedy has continued to develop content for the broader MCPHS web site.
